Track Alerts
SAFETY AND EMERGENCY ALERTS There are current alerts related to the crossing of the Margaret River and the Wilyabrub Brook crossing (through winter and spring) . Walkers are strongly advised to seek further information from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions telephone 97525555) or by visiting Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions website alerts.dbca.wa.gov.au/ and selecting Cape to Cape Track. . Walkers who come across a situation that they believe is potentially dangerous are asked to notify DBCA as soon as possible so that precautions can be taken and if necessary, alerts issued . NB. This page is managed by the Department Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions. The situation with regard to creek and river crossings can change if we have unseasonable rain or very large swells through summer, so check weather forecasts regularly before you walk any section of the Track which has a large creek or river mouth (e.g. the mouth of the Margaret River) Click here for DBCA Track Conditions When DBCA page appears select Park Alerts and then Cape to Cape Track. |
